About us

Finding teaching materials that make students as excited about technology in the classroom as they are outside school is a challenge we recognise.

We know that teachers really need ideas for delivery of IT programmes that are fun, relevant and real and which address student perceptions of IT as 'boring'.

e-skills UK Future Talent

The e-skills UK suite of Future Talent programmes have been designed for the 10 to 19 year old age range and include interactive resources that bring out the excitement and creative potential of real life technology. Their realism and relevance comes from the fact they are all created in conjunction with employers.

The e-skills Staffroom offers a range of tools to make delivery of technology education easier and more engaging for your learners. This includes:

  • Interactive learning resources for the classroom or computer club for 10 - 14 year olds (CC4G)
  • Materials to support delivery of the Diploma in IT (BigAmbition)
  • Support materials to help you plan delivery
  • Online helpdesk to answer questions
  • Set-up and management system for classes and clubs
  • E-portfolio system for students
  • Tracking system for student progress including downloadable reporting (coming late 2009)
  • Forum for internal and external communication, collaboration and sharing
